The “A.A. Guidelines on Finance” pamphlet suggests that individual groups, through an informed group conscience, adopt a specific contribution plan tailored to meet the group’s financial situation. Once the basic group expenses have been taken care of and a “prudent reserve” has been aside to cover unexpected expenses, the group may decide to further carry the message by sending money to the following A.A. service entities:
- Southwest Utah District 7
- Utah Area 69
- The local intergroup or central office
- A.A.’s General Service Office
It is up to each group to decide how much to contribute. The A.A. pamphlet “Self-Support: Where Money and Spirituality Mix” provides examples of percentages groups have used to determine contributions to A.A. Service Entities.
